2009 DATES and DETAILS TO BE ANNOUNCED

Greetings Rally Fans,

Planning for the 2009 Fall Road Rally is underway. I think everyone will very much enjoy the pit stops we have in mind for this one. If you attended past rallies, you got to experience a re-vamped version of the rally...less miles, more time to spend at pit stops, and the new, much loved, alphabet scavenger hunt game. Oh, and don't forget the mind boggling clues - you'll have your fair share of those as well! If you have never participated in a Road Rally, this is the year to consider it. Great per person price includes a buffet breakfast at the Canal House, a trip through the beautiful Catskill and Hudson Valley, interesting pit stops that provide tasty tapas, games and trivia and ending the day back at the Canal House with a Champagne and Hors d'oeuvres Reception. Prizes, including a grand prize of two seven-course dinners at the Canal House, will be awarded to the cars with the most points.

Reservations are required and should be in no later than one week before date of choice. You can print out the attached form and mail it in or you can register online via email or you can give us a ring and register over the phone. Space is limited so register early.

	Elizabeth Mowry opened the sealed manila envelope and pulled out the instructions for chef John Novi's Epicurean Road Rally. Her son, Albert Novak, had already fired up the engine in his dark green Jeep Cherokee, parked out side Novi's Depuy Canal House in High Falls, New York. "Start your engines, crank open the sun roof, and let's go!", Mowry said, reading from the instructions.
It was immediately clear that this was not just going to be another road rally - it was going to be a day filled with delicious foods, fun and excitement and a tour of the Hudson Valley. Appreciating sites one does not normally have the time to stop and admire...so...start your engines and put on your seatbelts.

REGISTRATION 9:15 AM Congregate at the Canal House for a hearty brunch. Pick up map and travel log with clues, questions and instructions for the course. ALONG THE WAY Check in at designated pit stops and receive a delicious morsel. LIGHT LUNCH somewhere along the route. CHAMPAGNE RECEPTION Return in the late afternoon for hors d'oeuvres and champagne while scores are tallied and prizes awarded. PRIZES 1st Place - Dinner for Two at Depuy Canal House. Other Prizes will also be awarded.	DINNER is available at a 20% discount to all rallyers (reservations recommended). OVERNITE ACCOMMODATIONS at our B&B are available at a 20% discount.. Please inquire. COST Adults: $109, Children: 12 - 15 years old: $25. Includes breakfast, a light lunch, dinner, pit stop surprises, registration packet with quiz and instructions, all gratuities and sales tax. NOTE: This is not a speed race. It is designed to use your creativity, detective skills, knowledge and sense of humor. No alcoholic beverages in cars, please. None will be sold during Rally and Pit Stops.
